Fees: Our fees are based upon the compensation package assigned to the position. Currently this fee is 10% of the combined Salary + Housing + Auto (not including insurance, retirement or other benefits). For example, if your position is a minimum hiring package totaling $40,000. Then your commitment to SME would be $4,000. plus expenses (if any). The percentage is based upon full time positions. If the position is part time, simply double the position budget to get your total.
* SAVE $$ by pooling resources together: If an association books EXCEL on behalf of several youth pastors or a few churches combine their resources to provide EXCEL for their Youth Leader, the price converts to a flat fee of $3000 for two ministers – making the cost $1,500 each. Add $1000 for each additional YL doing EXCEL together as a joint effort. The maximum number of YL able to network resources and experience EXCEL together at the same time is seven. Even if several churches are not in the same area but would agree to meet in the same area for EXCEL, the benefit is still there.
One half (1/2) of the position compensation package is required when the church signs an agreement form with SME to enter the EXCEL program.
Expenses are submitted quarterly or at the conclusion of the one year EXCEL period.
A balance check is due within two weeks from the conclusion of the one year EXCEL period.
